This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being handson staying organized and helping teams maintain a safe compliant and efficient workplace. Youll manage hazardous waste logistics conduct routine safety inspections coordniate employee safety programs and assist with a variety of EHS and security ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety OperationsPerform weekly EHS walkthroughs to identify hazards track corrective actions and support continuous the safety shoe voucher program and Prescription safety glasses program including employee eligibility and vendor coordination as well as other PPE corrective actions OSHA logs training records and safety with ergonomics assessments and workstation Projects & Program SupportSupport EHS improvement projects such as chemical inventory updates signage improvements equipment guarding and safety culture project timelines deliverables and communication with crossfunctional with contractor safety onboarding and implement new EHS systems and ComplianceCoordinate and schedule hazardous waste pickups ensuring proper labeling storage and waste manifests profiles SDS records and vendor weekly inspections of waste storage areas universal waste stations and environmental control stormwater inspections spill prevention activities and recycling/waste reduction with environmental reporting and compliance tasks as Occ health & Emergency PreparednessAssist with emergency response planning evacuation drills and firstaid/CPR program routine checks of emergency equipment including AEDs fire extinguishers eyewash stations and spill hearing conservation activities and audiometric testing with respiratory protection program tasks such as fittesting coordination and degree of 2 years experience in EHS environmental compliance industrial safety or related knowledge of OSHA EPA and state/local organizational skills with excellent attention to communication skills and ability to work with employees at all with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
