A highly respected national law firm is seeking an Environmental Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in handling sophisticated environmental regulatory litigation and transactional matters across a broad range of industries.

3 years of environmental law experience

Experience handling a broad range of environmental regulatory litigation and transactional matters

Experience advising clients regarding the Clean Air Act Clean Water Act Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) CERCLA and related environmental regulations

Experience representing clients in environmental compliance permitting enforcement remediation and related matters

Experience supporting environmental due diligence and transactional matters is preferred

Background in science engineering environmental studies or a related technical field is a plus

An LL.M. in Environmental Law or other specialized environmental training is preferred

Strong legal research writing analytical organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a sophisticated fast-paced practice environment

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted without examination

Sophisticated environmental practice spanning regulatory litigation and transactional matters

Representation of clients across a broad range of industries

Exposure to complex environmental compliance and enforcement matters

Strong mentorship and professional development

1850 billable hour target
