What are we looking for

The Technician I is responsible for supporting engineers for testing and equipment/lab maintenance. This position will travel at least 25% of the time.

What youll do:

Set up tests test equipment and test apparatus.
Prepare test samples.
Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
Interact with customers in a professional manner including appearance and attitude
Diligent safety practices have knowledge of OSHA standards and use of safety equipment as required by management
Work closely with engineers and take directions to complete projects within certain policies and procedures
Daily cleanup and maintenance of labs testing equipment samples and organize all tools and materials
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products installation methodology and safety.
Troubleshoot test repair and service technical equipment.
Obtaining and recording test data in accordance with standards
Performing basic analysis of test data and routine calculations
Perform other work as required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Entry level no experience required
Computer skills: MS Word MS Excel MS Teams MS Outlook

Ability to work in fast-paced multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload with efficient time management
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
Must be customer focused and quality driven
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Valid drivers license and reliable driving record

Ability to travel up to 25%


Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

Trade school certification or associates degree in technical field
1 year of relatable experience
NRTL safety certification experience
Experience with PCB soldering electrical wiring and/or plumbing/HVAC system
