Entry Level R&U Operations Technician

Position Title: Entry Level Recovery & Utilities Technician Port Wentworth GAPay Rate: Operations Technicians start as entry level at an hourly rate of $24.88/ an initial onboarding period the Entry Level new hires immediately begin a training and certification program to allow potential rapid advancement to higher position and increased Hourly Full-Time; 12-Hour Rotating Shifts. A 28-day cycle looks like this: 4 Day Shifts (6 a.m. 6:30 p.m.) --- 7 days off4 Night Shifts (6 p.m. 6:30 a.m.) --- 3 days off3 Day Shifts (6 a.m. 6:30 p.m.) --- 1 day off3 Night Shifts (6 p.m. 6:30 a.m.) --- 3 days offAbout The Role:You will start in an entry-level position and perform general physical activities. On the job training may involve physical technical and mechanical ability in order to perform the following duties:Climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling materialsMonitoring adjusting and controlling operating equipmentConducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performanceAbout You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities At least 18 years of ageMinimum high school graduate GED or equivalent work experience Eligible for employment in the USMust be willing to meet the following requirements:Operate or work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot dusty/dirty around hazardous chemicals noise heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employmentUndergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employmentSubmit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employmentWork any shift and/or a rotating shift scheduleWork overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notificationWork holidays and/or weekends on a regular basisWear required safety equipmentPreferred candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): Demonstrated stability through a consistent work history with at least 2-years consecutive employment; orDemonstrated combination of technical training and school leadership activities; or Other technical training or certifications such as Ready to Work programs Relevant work experience in an industrial Thinking Analyze and use logic to address issuesTeam Player Collaborate and work cooperatively across a multifunctional teamDependability Being reliable responsible and dependableSelf-Motivation Exerting effort towards training to move up to next position and accepting feedback to make improvements or take corrective actionAbout Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
