Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time entry level Groundskeeper and Maintenance Attendant for Butler County.

Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years by helping individuals and families with lifes changing needs. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. Position Summary:

The position is responsible for providing building maintenance custodial and grounds keeping services to ensure buildings are clean and in efficient working condition.

Main duties are: Grass cutting trimming hedges and bushes Snow removal light plumbing painting drywall repair etc. Knowledge of electrical work HVAC and basic welding is helpfulbut not required.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Butler location. No Evenings No Weekends No Holidays!!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated knowledge with lawn tools and basic household tools
• Prior experience with preventive building and equipment maintenance basic plumbing electricity principles basic welding refrigeration and air conditioning systems and/or boiler systems repair is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must possess a valid drivers license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania.
