Job Title: Enterprise Architecture Manager

Location: Houton TX (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime

Pay Rate Range: $175k to $200k

Position Overview

The Enterprise Architect Manager will lead the enterprise architecture function across Infrastructure Applications Data and Integration domains. This role serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership translating complex technical environments into actionable roadmaps that support grid modernization operational reliability and digital transformation initiatives.

The role focuses on aligning technology strategy with business and regulatory requirements within a utilities or critical infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of enterprise architects across multiple domains
• Define maintain and govern enterprise architecture frameworks and standards
• Establish architecture review processes to ensure alignment with business strategy
• Drive governance through design reviews technology evaluations and approval processes

Strategic Planning and Roadmapping

• Partner with business and technology leaders to develop multi-year roadmaps
• Translate business priorities such as grid modernization OT/IT convergence and regulatory compliance into architecture strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and align them to business outcomes
• Support capital planning through architecture-driven business cases

Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture

• Oversee architecture for on-prem hybrid and cloud environments
• Guide cloud adoption strategies across AWS Azure or GCP
• Define standards for high availability disaster recovery and resilience
• Ensure infrastructure supports mission-critical utility operations

Applications Architecture

• Provide governance for enterprise platforms such as ERP GIS EAM ADMS and customer applications
• Define integration principles and support application portfolio rationalization
• Ensure architectures meet regulatory and operational requirements

Data Architecture

• Lead enterprise data strategy including governance MDM and analytics platforms
• Enable predictive maintenance operational analytics and reporting capabilities
• Ensure security privacy and compliance are embedded in all data decisions

Integration Architecture

• Oversee integration patterns API strategy and middleware platforms
• Define standards for OT/IT integration (SCADA EMS DMS enterprise systems)
• Guide adoption of modern integration approaches including microservices

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture including leadership experience
• Expertise in at least two domains: Infrastructure Applications Data Integration
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF Zachman or similar)
• Strong background in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS Azure GCP)
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment
• Experience with governance standards and portfolio management

Preferred

• Experience in utilities energy or critical infrastructure sectors

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field
