Engineering Technician I Product Engineering SupportMAJOR PURPOSE:Performs instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that machineperformance meets the product specification. Supports all product groups inthe product verification and validation DUTIES: Description of the major duties performed in this job.* Designs schedules and performs field and/or lab tests to validate newproduct designs.* Develops programs for data acquisition.* Collects and installs instrumentation for test.* Compiles test reports that document procedures and communicates results andguidance to design group.* Gives work direction to test operators.* Coordinates interaction with experimental shop and field test to ensuretest activities correlate with available parts and current designiteration.

- Specific Position Requirements : OnsiteMax Bill Rate: 38/hrJob PurposePerform instrumented testing using established procedures to verify machine and component performance against product Responsibilities Set up tests including fixtures part modifications required instrumentation and overall configuration Execute tests using computer-controlled systems as well as mechanical control systems Collect and record data using both digital and analog measurement systems Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to communicate test progress issues and results Perform test teardown cleanup and equipment reset following completionRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude including experience with power tools and metalworking equipment Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic mechanical systems Ability to work independently with general guidance from management and team members Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart) Associate s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience Working knowledge of refrigeration systems and components Basic understanding of heat transfer Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming
