We seek Engineering & Technical Support Specialist I candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Solutions and Services Position; however ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Provide services and support as a Engineering & Technical Support Specialist I ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Solutions and Services aligned with the Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. 
• This role focusses on Human Capital Project Management Engineering Environmental Compliance Risk Management IT Effectiveness Business Process Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion LLC (SRMC) SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contractDEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken South Carolina and across the Southeast South Atlantic CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).
• Provide Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports engineering support activities through planning analysis coordination documentation compliance quality assurance and stakeholder support..  Turn technical expertise into safe practical support for facility operations maintenance programs and issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Engineering & Technical Support Specialist I Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) L00362

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training obey safety rules and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

•  Performs limited Engineering activities based on practical experience typically responsible for a narrow scope of Engineering responsibilities under general supervision.
•  Develops well defined Engineering specifications for process operations calibration material and test equipment installed or portable process instrumentation or functional area systems under general supervision.
•  Develops reviews and implements operating and calibration procedures and standards when experience allows.
•  Performs routine equipment facility or area walk downs to conduct equipment maintenance inspections while documenting equipment and facility measurement control data configuration and other equipment details to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation and inventory.
•  Oversees standard installation of new equipment major equipment modifications and various other major equipment issues which support processes calibration measuring or site operations.
•  Contributes to technical reviews on proposed operations calibration or measuring equipment modifications.
•  Provides technical support to operations and maintenance technicians and other personnel as requested.
•  May coordinate new and/or repaired equipment testing with Engineering and maintenance organizations prior to field installation.
•  May monitor a variety of contingency coordinator roles in support of the technical aspects of emergency fire security safety environmental regulatory compliance nuclear material accountability Engineering schedules and maintenance surveillance programs among others.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in an Engineering or technical discipline; OR
• Bachelors degree in a non-technical discipline and 1 year work experience preferably in operations operations support maintenance Engineering or technical field OR;
•  Associates

•   Bachelors degree in a non-technical discipline and 1 year work experience preferably in operations operations support maintenance Engineering or technical field OR;
