Annual Compensation: $128000 to $168000 (plus annual bonus)

The Engineering Technical Project Manager will lead and support the team responsible for the product launch and execution of intelligent next generation lidar for vehicle autonomy advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and robotic vision applications engineering support in electro-optical design. This solution is part of Benchmarks line of customizable defense solutions for surveillance secure communication and military live training instrumentation.

Responsibilities Include

• Consult with the internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on how to troubleshoot any challenges that arose regarding its critical subsystem components (including performing failure analysis and recommending critical changes).
• Plan and organize all manufacturing readiness activities.
• Coordinate communication across Operations Quality Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Work closely with functional leaders to ensure resource planning execution discipline and milestone achievement.
• Participate in all phases of New Product Introduction (NPI) activity - from early prototype builds through LRIP and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Ensure completion and integration of manufacturing-related deliverables including process flows PFMEAs control plans work instructions tooling/test readiness and supplier readiness milestones.
• Work with product teams to transition development hardware into rate production environments.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Degree in Engineering Operations Industrial Engineering or related technical fields preferred.
• Knowledge of industry compliance regulations including ISO 9001 ISO 14001 AS9100 and ITAR.
• 3 years experience driving hardware products through development into integration and manufacturing.
• 3 years experience leading manufacturing readiness cross-functional planning NPI and production ramp-up activities.
• Aerospace Space Defense Aviation or Automotive industry is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering data including BOMs process documentation and supplier deliverables.
• Ability to translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear communication.
