What You Will Do:

• Create and revise engineering drawings in Creo
• Complete detailed layouts and design documentation using Computer Aided Design tools
• Release engineering change notices
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) or desire to learn
• Provide technical support on major programs andinterface withLead Mechanical Engineers and Chief Engineers to support designobjectives
• Contribute toproject teams through design development and will be expected to ensure that the established procedures are followed in the creation of technical data packageswhile meeting program design objectives
• Work from requirements tohelpdevelop unit design concepts and perform design todeveloping technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems
• Provide support to suppliers who are fabricating components and assemblies

What You Will Learn:

• Creo cPDM (Common PDM) Winchill and other training opportunities within the RTX learning center.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Associates degree in a CAD-related field or 5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with 3D MCAD solid modeling software

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with ANSI drawing standards
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances)
• Experience with electronic packaging
• Current DoDsecurity clearance or the ability to obtain andmaintaina US security clearance
• Proficiencywith CREO or similar 3D solid modeling software
• Exposure tomanufacturing processes or experience in manufacturing and assembly support

The salary range for this role is 62900 USD - 119700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
