Whats the Opportunity
This part-time flex role will experience a combination of hands-on fieldwork and a defined project within environmental engineering as well as the opportunity for exposure to other service areas within our firm. There will be opportunities to work with senior and principal-level professionals assisting with project-related tasks and gaining insight into the world of professional consulting.
Responsibilities:
- SPCC plan development for industrial facilities
- Town stream restoration assessments
- IP construction oversight/documentation
- Industrial stormwater sampling and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
What Are We Looking For
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Environmental Science or a related technical field. Rising seniors or graduate students are encouraged to apply.
- Previous internship coursework research or hands-on project experience related to engineering environmental consulting construction field work data analysis or similar technical disciplines is preferred.
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates willingness to learn take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced professional setting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and interest in learning industry-specific software and tools.
- Prior experience in consulting professional services field work laboratory work or client service environments is a plus but not required.
- Interest in environmental consulting engineering health & safety compliance restoration or related technical services preferred.
