The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) Government Training Engineering (GTE) isseekingan experienced and highly motivatedMulti-skillSenior Manager (L) to lead the Design Build Instruct IPT organization in Oklahoma City OK. Reporting to the GTE Director of Courseware Design Production & Operations this role is accountable for leading integrated execution across courseware design production and sustainment activities supporting the Government Training Engineering (GTE) Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) portfolio. Key platforms include KC-46 E-3 E-7 B-52 and AWACS.
This leader will drive IPT-level integration across engineering production operations and customer interfaces to ensure cost schedule quality and readiness targets are achieved. The role has earned value management (EVM) responsibility for major support business elements including co-authoring program budgets with senior leadershipestablishingquantitative performance metrics andoptimizingsupplier and capacity allocation toeliminatefinancial variance and improve organizational performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the integrated OKCDesign Build InstructIPT across design build and instruct functions
- Own cross-functional coordination between engineering production operations supply chain and program leadership
- Establish and maintain IPT execution plans priorities and performance metrics
- Drive cost schedule and quality performance across supported portfolios
- Manage EVM inputs forecasts variance analysis and corrective action execution
- Identifyand mitigate program staffing tooling and capacity risks
- Coordinate resource allocation and surge support across competing priorities
- Ensuretimelyexecution of deliverables reviews and customer commitments
- Support supplier material and workflow readiness to enable production stability
- Communicate status risks and decisions clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Promote continuous improvement standard work and scalable processes across the IPT
- Lead talent development onboarding and workforce planning tomaintainexecution capacity
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Experience in Aircrew training devices
- Experience in aircraft maintenance or maintenance training
- Experience with Instructional System Design Methodologies Learning Data and Learning Management Systems
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or something similar
- 3 years of experience in management or leading teams
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time both domestically and internationally
- Experience designing developing and delivering training solutions for Defense customers (USG and FMS).
- 5 years of experience translatingbusiness requirements into technical specifications
- Experience managing supplier relationships and performing supplier technology evaluations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Masters degreeor higher
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
- Demonstrated success delivering projects to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Familiarity with learning management systems learning-path development and instructional systems design.
- Experience with data analytics critical thinking and structured problem solving (e.g. Boeing Problem Solving Model).
- Track recordofidentifyingand implementing process and tool improvements to enhance training outcomes.
- Prior experience supporting high-visibility projects for senior leadership and customers.
