Job Summary:
- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing process and quality engineers in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Oversee engineering activities for special processes including thermal spray chemical processing and advanced coatings.
- Drive process optimization efficiency and quality improvements across production operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (Nadcap ISO 9001 AS9100) and support audit activities.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational performance.
- Manage capital projects for new equipment automation and process upgrades.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) including process development documentation and transition to production.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and oversee supplier technical performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Align engineering strategy with overall business goals and objectives.
