A rapidly growing AI-powered fintech company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing engineering organization building products that transform financial operations through automation and intelligent workflows.

This onsite opportunity offers $200000-$250000 base salary plus meaningful equity and is ideal for engineering leaders who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and enjoy building both teams and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 10-15 software engineers
• Drive engineering execution delivery and team performance
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams on roadmap planning and technical strategy
• Guide architecture and system design decisions
• Recruit hire onboard and develop engineering talent
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration ownership and growth
• Support career development coaching and performance management
• Influence engineering strategy through direct collaboration with executive leadership

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of software engineering experience
• 3 years of Engineering Management experience
• Experience managing teams of 8-15 engineers
• Strong software architecture and system design capabilities
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Ability to work onsite in New York City

Preferred:

• Startup experience within Series A-D companies
• FinTech SaaS or B2B software experience
• AI or machine learning product experience
• Payments billing revenue recognition or financial systems experience
• Track record of scaling engineering teams and processes
