Job Summary
Position: Engineering Lab Technician
Location: Salt Lake City UT
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Total Hours/week: 40.00
Work hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule.

3 Must haves on the resume:
1) Associates degree or higher in STEM field (chemistry materials science biomedical engineering preferred)
2) minimum of 1 year experience in a lab setting (wet chemistry) and instruments (Example: HPLC UV/VIS ICP DMA DSC TGA)
3) Ability to write technical reports
Description:
Looking for local candidates contract position potential long term depending on business needs. Flexible schedule Full time.
Roles:
- Provide solid technical skill analytical testing and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products. Support current products in roles of quality research & development pilot-scale manufacturing supply continuity and cost improvement.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work
- Understand customer needs through literature review competitive analysis prototype evaluation and clinical / simulated use studies.
- Support engineering of robust and manufacturable products through strong understanding and application of engineering fundamentals.
Must haves:
- A minimum of 1-year experience with operation of material and/or chemical analytical instrumentation which may include but not limited to: HPLC UV-VIS FTIR DSC TGA.
- Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports that comply with company policies and with local regional and federal regulations.
- Strong technical communication skills
- Associates degree or higher in STEM (chemistry biology microbiology biotechnology biomedical engineering).
