Job Summary
Position will be open until filled.
We are currently seeking:
An Engineering Intern to join our this role under general supervision you will support department personnel with various assignments related to Capital Improvement Projects and internal services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and assembling data for engineers including research and development of existing products and technologies.
- Analyzing work processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Resolving technical issues and improving product flow.
- Assisting engineers with appropriate design details.
- Conducting limited scope testing and design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers.
- Knowledge of physically producing and reproducing engineering documents.
- Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
- Regular and timely attendance is required.

Requirements and Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Excel PPT Word etc.).
- AutoCAD Civil3D (preferred).
- Communicate effectively orally and written.
- Must be diligent self-starting hardworking and quick to learn.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of sophomore year or higher at a college majoring in civil engineering.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a standard office environment.
- Must be able to bend or stoop to retrieve files.
- Must be able to lift books files or other materials weighing 10 to15 lbs.
