The Role

Are you looking to apply your engineering skills in a dynamic environment that tackles complex challenges Join our team as an Engineering Co-op and gain hands-on experience working on nuclear and military HVAC systems.

In this role you will contribute to the design engineering manufacturing and testing of custom HVAC equipment including chillers air conditioners high-efficiency filtration systems absorption units coolers fans dampers and related components.

This is a first-shift position based at our manufacturing facility in Batavia OH.

What Youll Do

• Apply engineering principles organizational skills and teamwork in a real-world setting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering design manufacturing purchasing sales and customers
• Support the development of equipment that is safe reliable efficient and cost-effective
• Select and specify materials components and purchased parts; assist with writing specifications for custom components
• Troubleshoot and help resolve manufacturing testing and service issues
• Perform additional duties as needed

What Were Looking For

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Chemical Engineering
• 14 years away from graduation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Preferred experience with CAD or drafting
• Strong motivation communication and teamwork skills

So that you know

• This is an entry-level co-op position.
• You will work closely with and be mentored by senior engineers.
• Assignments typically last 10-12 weeks depending on your schools co-op program.
• Candidates must be in good academic standing.
• This position may require access to information subject to U.S. government contractual restrictions including Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) or other controlled information. Eligibility to access such information is limited to individuals who meet applicable U.S. requirements which may include U.S. citizenship.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
