Do you want to contribute to bringing Americas warfighters home safely Do you want to be a part of a cause greater than yourself Join the Manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art Huntsville facility supporting the development and production of critical EW systems for the warfighter. The Engineering Assistant role includes a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
This is a first shift position working a 4/10(Monday-Thursday) schedule OR a 9/80 with every other Friday off.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Maintenance: Operate calibrate and diagnose electronic components and systems using schematics engineering drawings and technical instructions.
ESS Operations: Set up profile and operate Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment managing the interface between hardware and software.
Technical Analysis: Perform complex fault isolation and apply non-standard test techniques to resolve intricate system issues.
Engineering Support: Provide technical guidance to engineers on prototype development modify test equipment to meet customer requirements and conduct root-cause evaluations for corrective action.
Documentation: Develop operational procedures recommend method improvements and prepare detailed technical reports.
This nature of this position requires the individual to be 100% on-site.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
High School Diploma
Secret Clearance
5 years work experience in Manufacturing or Operations
Proven experience operating Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment
Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment (e.g. radar communication microwave or telemetry)
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics
Strong communication skills and the ability to balance production schedules with engineering priorities
Commitment to adhering to company policies and quality standards
Preferred Education Experience & Skills
Familiar with thermal chamber operations and maintenance
Lean Immersion or Six Sigma certification
Experience with Continuous Improvement
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $69089 - $110543
