Engineered Wood Products Lead Engineer

Reviews Quality Control testing and as liaison with software provider and oversees maintenance of design software along with various industry associations and training sessions with both internal and external and all other duties as Professional Engineer (Structural or Civil) ability to become licensed in multiple statesBA/BS degree in Engineering . MS/MA/MBA a plus.5-7 years experience preferred with BS/BA; 3-5 years experience with MS/MA/MBAExpertise in designing structures with wood especially with wood I-joists structural composite lumber rim board and glulam beams and columns. Strong understanding of building code requirements as well as the National Design Specification (NDS) for Wood detail-oriented. Skilled at blueprint reading. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software especially Excel. Skills using isDesign and isPlan a plus.
