Job Title: Product Systems Integration Engineer

Industry: Heavy Machine Manufacturing / UAS (Drone Technology)

Location: St. Paul MN 55114

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Key Responsibilities:
Integrate sensors and hardware onto drone (UAS) platforms.
Design mechanical components using CAD (Creo preferred).
Perform hardware integration validation and testing.
Conduct UAS flight testing and troubleshooting.
Create engineering drawings BOMs and technical documentation.
Design and document wire harnesses.
Support hardware/software compatibility testing.
Provide Level 2 engineering support.
Collaborate with engineering production and technology partners.

Required Skills:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
CAD experience (Creo preferred).
Mechanical design and systems integration.
Hardware testing and validation.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Technical documentation and reporting.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:
UAS / Drone Platforms.
Pixhawk Autopilots.
PX4 & Ardupilot Firmware.
MAVLink Systems.
Flight Testing.
Wire Harness Design.
Product Validation & Verification.
Systems Engineering.

Ideal Background:

Additional Requirements:
FAA Part 107 Certification (within 3 months of hire).
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Approximately 25% shop/lab work on feet.
Travel may be required for flight testing and validation.

Experience:
2 5 years in Mechanical Design Systems Integration Product Development or UAS Engineering.
