Education/Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance facilities or engineering.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator EPA Certification HVAC Certification RFID Training preferred.

Work Hours

• Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
• Scheduling includes holidays nights and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.

  • Must be able to bend stoop squat and stretch to fulfill painting and engineering tasks.
  • Safety requirements of PPE as needed and with the use of required tools and equipment.
  • Mustpossessbasic technical knowledge and understanding of hand tools powertoolsand repair equipment.
  • Basic understanding and/or capacity to learn processes of preventative routine and emergency repair work.
  • Positive attitude with ambition and desire to learna trade.
  • Will berequiredto work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
  • Scheduling includes holidays nights and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
  • Completed the following certifications: Certified Pool Operator EPA Certification

Job Responsibilities

• • Receive daily work assignments from the manager of Engineering and review priorities and special projects.
  • Organize materials tools and equipment to perform daily assignments.
  • Maintain timelines and work schedules according to the preventive maintenance program.
  • Check work orders and maintenance reports for any problems.â
  • Make rounds checking these problem areas; note any touch-up needs or/and safety concerns.
  • Install and repair vinyl and wallpaper.
  • Strip and refinish Guest Room furniture.
  • Maintain the proper use cleaning maintenance and storage of alltools (i.e. brushes rollers paint sprayers trays ladders scaffolds etc.) and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
  • Handle chemicals according to hotel requirements (OSHA).
  • Ensure the security of any assigned keys and beeper.
  • Complete room preventative maintenance for assigned guest rooms.
  • Respond to guest maintenance and service requests ina timelyand professional manner.
  • Maintain complete knowledge andcomply withall hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving and review the status of assignments and any follow-up actions with the manager of engineering or next scheduled engineer
  • Ability to push pull grasp lift or carry supplies equipment or tools weighing up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Carries out supervisor requestsin accordance withhotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards standard operation procedures and safety standards.
  • Follow all policies and procedures and constantly strive to improve all standards of operations.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
  • Additionalcleanliness or guest services duties as assigned by management.
  • Follow alladditionalduties asassigned by management.
