Engineer Intern Applicant-Engineer 5 (Project Engineer)

This position performs duties associated with the state-wide technical engineering aspect of the Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund (DWRLF) as well as some shared responsibilities associated with Capacity Development and Public Water System Supervision. This position involves applying advanced knowledge of complex and highly-technical administrative organizational and professionally-licensed engineering skills to large-scale drinking water system construction projects.

Eligibility for a Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate.

NOTE:
This is a temporary position to be utilized while the incumbent is securing a Louisiana Engineer Intern certificate. Permanent status shall be denied to incumbents occupying this position.

Compensation:For the Engineer Intern 1 Engineer 5 these positions have a Special Entrance Rate (SER) starting salary of:

Engineer Intern 1 - $26.44 hourly / $2115.20 bi-weekly

Engineer Intern 2 - $28.29 hourly / $2263.20bi-weekly

Engineer 3 $33.39 hourly / $2671.20bi-weekly

Engineer 4- $36.90 hourly /$2952.00 bi-weekly

Engineer 5- $39.48 hourly /$3158.40 bi-weekly
