- Provide technical assistance/analysis for troubleshooting and unit optimization.
- Support operations during plant shutdowns start-ups and process upsets.
- Monitor production rate unit coefficients downtime and availability data and trends.
- Provide process engineering support to capital projects.
- Act as steward of safety and environmental systems and identify and report all safety health and environmental concerns.
- Support process safety programs such as Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC)
- Entry-level Chemical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience and/or student Co-Op engineering experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent computer skills (i.e. MS Office) and process simulation skills is an asset.
