Wood Rodgers a leading engineering consulting firm based in California is hiring a roadway design engineer to join our Transportation Department. If you are looking to work in a unique team that works on a wide variety of projects you have come to the right place. We work in many design disciplines including highways and local roadways bike trails pedestrian facilities drainage facilities and many more. If you are looking to join a team where you will be a lead roadway design engineer this would be a great position for you.

What you will be doing
- Design roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
- Prepare plans technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.
- Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.
- Oversee and mentor entry level staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience on roadway design projects.
- Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design related software.
- Experience using roadway design standards such as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

The range does not reflect geographic variations and may fluctuate above or below the stated amount. Offers will be based on several factors including experience education skills licensure certifications training and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers. If you feel you meet the requirements but may be outside of the pay range please apply anyway and lets talk through it.
