Position Title: Engagement Supervisor INTERNAL ONLY
Reports to: CYC Director
Salary: $26.00-$30.00
Schedule: Some weekends required; minimum of 4 days/week

Job Summary:
Asan EngagementSupervisoryou will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Calabrese Youth Center by ensuring the welfare and safety of residents and providing the necessaryassistanceto increase independent living addition you will provide leadership guidance and support to a team of residential counselors duringtheirshiftat the school.

Essential Job Duties

Supervisory

• In partnership withCYCleadership team you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of residential counselors including training mentoring and evaluating their performance.

• Training staff

• Communication with school leadership team for call outs appointments and schedule changes

• Assistin the recruitment andselectionof new residential counselors.

• Assistingwith coordinating schedules preparing on-campus activitiesand assigningoutingsfor residents.

• Assistingwithdayto dayoperations including delegation of cleaning tasks

• Bridging communication between overnight staff and morning staff

Direct Care

• Supportchildren/youthin community for leisure learning and appointments.

• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations promptly and effectively.

• Oversee health and welfare of children/youth and report concerns and progress toDirector/AD.

• Train andassistas necessary children/youth in shopping cleaning money management hobbies personal hygiene etc.

• Provide directcare supervisionand training services to children/youth.
  
  
  Administrative

• Maintainaccuraterecords of resident interactions progress and incidents.

• Ensure thecompletionpassing of medication is smooth andtimely.

• Ensure physical management reports are completed beforeendofshift.

• Other Duties as Assigned

MinimumRequirements

• Valid Drivers license witha good drivingrecord

• At least 21 years of age

• Bachelors in Human Servicesor related field or Two-years experience working with developmentally disabled youth with emotional/behavioral disorders.

• Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

• Oneyearexperience of working in theLaradonschool.

• At least 6monthsexperience working at the CYC.
