Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Energy & Project Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated energy infrastructure and project finance transactions involving complex financing structures and major development projects.

36 years of project finance energy infrastructure or related transactional experience

Experience representing developers sponsors lenders investors or financial institutions in sophisticated project finance transactions

Experience with renewable energy conventional energy infrastructure or other large-scale development projects

Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements financing documents security documents project agreements and related transaction documents

Experience with debt financing acquisition financing construction financing or other structured project financings

Renewable energy experience involving solar wind battery storage or other energy transition projects is a plus

Experience conducting due diligence and coordinating complex transaction closings

Strong drafting negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment

Excellent client service and communication skills

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated energy and project finance transactions

Exposure to major renewable energy and infrastructure projects
