Opportunity-Energy Logistics Analyst I
Location-Hybrid Within Service Territory
2-3 Days in Office per week

What youll be working on

  • Forecast natural gas demand.
  • Support short-term supply & storage procurement strategies.
  • Suggest changes to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives as needed to address control deficiencies.
  • Prepare work papers maintain documents and reports for regulatory filings rate cases and other reporting obligations.
  • Evaluate capacity holdings.
  • Invoice reconciliations.
  • Investigate data variances and propose solutions.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist team with 3rd party supply & transportation programs .
  • Cultivate off-system sales transactions/programs.
  • Manage the applicable LDC system according to tariff provisions.
  • Suggest changes to tariff rules to make the organization more streamlined scalable or economically competitive.
  • Champion process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Who you are...

  • Bachelors degree in energy management finance accounting energy technology or a related field is required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business administrative duties or related experience.
  • natural gas supply energy or analyst experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation modeling and coordination of resources.
  • Understand the business units Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives and the risks they are designed to control.
  • Basic knowledge of natural gas markets.
  • High attention to detail and ability to learn energy management
  • Intermediate skills in Excel. Basic proficiency in MS Office Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to understand interpret and use data effectively and ethically.
