Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) per diem, day shift

Job Description:

As an RN in Endoscopy you will assume responsibility to lead the Endoscopy patient care team in providing quality patient care. Assesses plansimplementsand evaluates patient care from admission to physician with diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopic procedures andmonitorsthe physiological status of the patient throughout the pre intra and post-procedure periods. Maintains departmental on-call responsibilities during off-shiftsweekendsand holidays on a rotating basis.

Acts as a role model to staff members and directsassignsand supervises ancillary staff team members in providing theappropriate levelof care most able toeffectively manage theteam workconcept andremainsflexible in response to changes. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and performs by the philosophyestablishedpolicies and procedures and standards of the Nursing Division Endoscopy Department and the Hospital.

Endoscopy experience ACLS are required

Pay Range:

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms ofthe applicable collective bargainingagreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
