Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a busy procedural care environment in Akron Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong endoscopy experience and be comfortable with procedural sedation patient monitoring and on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 18 months of Endoscopy RN experience required prior to travel assignments
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
- ACLS
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for endoscopy patients before during and after procedures
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation
- Perform patient assessments and documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery care
- Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards
