The endocrinology service line is supported by a multidisciplinary team including primary care cardiology nephrology nutrition and other specialty services. This collaborative approach allows physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions.
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist (MD/DO) for a part-time/per diem outpatient opportunity in Shelton Connecticut.
Experienced endocrinologists fellows and early-career physicians are encouraged to apply.
- Evaluate diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders including diabetes thyroid disease osteoporosis adrenal disorders and pituitary conditions.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care with an emphasis on long-term disease management and prevention.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Interpret diagnostic studies including hormone assays imaging and metabolic testing.
- Educate patients regarding lifestyle modifications medication management and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Provide patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Residency: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
- Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Licensure: Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
- Experience: Experienced endocrinologists fellows and new graduates are welcome to apply.
