Job Summary

Bay Bluffs- Emmet County Medical Care Facility is currently seeking nurses with geriatric end of life and/or palliative care experience. Join our team as we provide our residents with exceptional care in a home like environment with compassion and dignity. With a total team approach we combine dedicated administration with an experienced professional staff to offer a variety of services and programs for our residents ranging for short term rehabilitation to long-term and dementia focused care and End of Life/Hospice are looking for compassionate hardworking people to join our team of dedicated caregivers

This CNA will be assigned to our new End of Life/Hospice Suite area. Current shift availability is night shift. (5:45p thru 6p)

Responsibilities
  • Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical psycho-social and environmental needs of residents
  • Assess residents conditions and chart observations and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
  • Administer medication as prescribed by the residents physician
  • Provide effective communication to residents their family members team members and other health care professionals
Qualifications
  • Current state license as a CNA
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Compassionate friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint process
