Summary of Role:

Based in Austin Texas the Automotive End Market team is seeking an engineering student with an interest in business management to help define strategy in this critical market. The intern will assess market opportunities and define requirements that guide the development of differentiated solutions.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Analyze potential opportunities including market sizethe competitivelandscape and target customers.

• Create market requirements for opportunities in the automotive end market that will differentiate GFs solutions.

• Develop andmaintainbusiness plans for potential market opportunities including revenue forecasts and product pricing.

• Support analysis of research and development and capital investment requirements for potential market opportunities.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

• EducationAt least a sophomore at time of applicationand actively pursuing aBachelors degreeinElectricalEngineering or related fieldthrough an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA andbe ingood academic standing.

• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

• Travel - Up to 10%

• Ability to workat least40hoursper week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior related internship or co-op experience

• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace school projects competitions etc.

• Project management skillsi.e.the ability to innovate andexecute onsolutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong planning & organizational skills

• IC design or systems engineering experience in RF power or silicon photonics preferred.

• Experience with Excel or similar data analysis software.
