EMT, Paramedic, or LPN (Clinic)

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT Paramedic or LPN to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Columbus OH.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT Paramedic or LPN who enjoys hands-on patient care but is looking for a more predictable MondayFriday schedule. Youll work directly with employees in a worksite clinic providing first aid and injury care supporting wellness initiatives and helping employees stay healthy and safe at work.

What Youll Do

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Provide first aid triage assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcors evidence-based Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).

• Respond to workplace medical needs and determine appropriate next steps for care.

• Assist with case management and follow-up care.

• Complete pre-employment and post-offer screenings.

• Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).

• Support employee health wellness education and prevention initiatives.

Clinic Operations

• Manage day-to-day onsite clinic operations.

• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems.

• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and other required documentation.

• Order and maintain clinic supplies.

• Complete general administrative and compliance responsibilities.

Partnership & Communication

• Build strong relationships with employees and provide an excellent patient experience.

• Partner with the employers Safety and Human Resources teams.

• Coordinate with outside medical providers urgent care centers and hospitals when additional care is needed.

• Collaborate with Medcor Operations and clinical resources for ongoing support.

What Youll Need

• Current EMT Paramedic or LPN licensure/certification applicable to the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication organization and time-management skills.

• Comfort using computers electronic medical records and other workplace technology.

• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

• A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care.

Its a Plus If You Have

• Occupational or workplace health experience.

• Emergency medicine EMS urgent care or critical care experience.

• Experience working independently in a clinical setting.
