Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Rialto CA.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic who enjoys patient care but is looking for a change from traditional EMS. Youll work in an onsite clinic environment providing first aid injury assessment and treatment employee wellness support and occupational health services all while enjoying a consistent schedule and the stability of a full-time position.

A Typical Day as an Onsite Health Technician

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Provide first aid triage assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Respond to workplace medical situations and provide appropriate assessment stabilization treatment and coordination of emergency medical services when needed.

• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcors evidence-based treatment protocols.

• Support workers compensation case management and Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.

• Monitor treatment plans and coordinate with outside medical providers when additional care is needed.

• Complete accurate medical documentation and charting using our electronic medical record system.

Occupational Health & Wellness

• Support employee health safety and wellness initiatives.

• Assist with pre-employment and post-offer screenings.

• Educate employees on injury prevention wellness and appropriate follow-up care.

• Partner with onsite Safety and operational teams to help maintain a healthy and safe workplace.

Clinic Operations

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic.

• Maintain appropriate medical supplies and equipment.

• Build strong relationships with employees client leadership local medical providers and the Medcor team.

• Deliver an excellent patient and client experience.

What Youll Need

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure appropriate for the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable using computers electronic medical records and other technology.

• Ability to lift and carry a 50 lb. emergency response bag.

• A patient-first mindset and ability to work independently in an onsite clinic environment.

Even Better If You Have

• Occupational health or onsite clinic experience.

• Emergency medical services experience.

• Experience with workplace injuries workers compensation or Return-to-Work programs.
