Resource people with disabilities to obtain and maintain stable integrated community employment.

1. Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours valid drivers license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage.

2. Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department.

3. Maintain good hygiene.

4. Possess excellent research and writing skills.

5. Possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

6. Possess the ability to use tact and empathy when dealing with people of varied backgrounds.

7. Possess the ability to establish effective working relationships.

8. Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

9. Be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office products (Computer literate).

10. Accept responsibility and demonstrate leadership.

11. Be able to multitask effectively in a sometimes fast paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

B.A. or commensurate experience preferred in rehabilitation special education other behavioral science or closely related discipline. Experience in formal training in several of the following areas is preferred: job development task analysis data-keeping job analysis and work site training.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:

Driving record must meet insurability requirements and must furnish own transportation.

Physical Demands:

The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of this job.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally loud. Use of Personal Protective Equipment such as vinyl or latex gloves is occasionally required.
