EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION PARALEGAL

This is a highly regarded boutique litigation firm based in Atlanta GA woman-owned and woman-led with co-managing partners recognized among Georgias top legal talent. The firms attorneys are predominantly BigLaw alumni from top-tier law schools including Yale Columbia Stanford and Penn and the practice is consistently recognized by Super Lawyers Chambers USA Best Lawyers and Georgia Trends Legal Elite.THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 410 years of law firm litigation experience to support two litigation partners handling complex employment law and voting rights matters.This is a substantive litigation paralegal role with meaningful case ownership from inception through trial preparation. The position is not administrative in nature.
The paralegal will work closely with a highly experienced senior paralegal (20 years experience) who will oversee onboarding and provide mentorship and daily collaboration.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Support two litigation partners on complex employment law and voting rights matters
- Manage litigation workflow from case inception through resolution
- Draft and proofread pleadings subpoenas discovery requests/responses and deposition summaries
- Prepare trial binders exhibits witness files and hearing materials (both physical and electronic)
- Manage document production and e-discovery workflows
- Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw LexisNexis and PACER
- Maintain case files court calendars and litigation deadlines with high attention to detail
- Enter billable time consistently and accurately
- Communicate directly with clients in a polished and professional manner
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and senior paralegal on strategy hearing preparation and case management
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Required Experience- 410 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm
- Strong general civil litigation background including filings discovery and case management
- Experience supporting partners on active litigation matters
- Stable tenure preferred ideally 3 years with most recent employer
- Bachelors degree required
- Paralegal certificate required
- Drafting pleadings discovery requests/responses and subpoenas
- Employment law or employment litigation exposure strongly preferred
- Federal court litigation experience preferred
- E-discovery platform experience preferred
- Notebook assembly digital and physical binders for hearings and trial prep
- Drafting pleadings discovery requests/responses and subpoenas
- Trial binder and exhibit preparation
- Proficiency with Westlaw LexisNexis and PACER
- Experience with e-discovery/document review platforms
- Billable time entry discipline and familiarity with law firm billing environments
