What Youll Do

As an Employee Relations Specialist youll partner closely with HR leadership and organizational leaders to foster a positive compliant and engaging workplace. Youll provide expert guidance on employee relations leadership development and HR initiatives while helping strengthen organizational culture and the overall employee experience.

  • Oversees daily operations of assigned applications to ensure stability security and performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders by coaching on employee relations matters conducting workplace investigations managing corrective action processes and ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Develop and support HR programs policies training and leadership development initiatives including facilitating Leadership Versatility Index (LVI) 360-degree assessments and promoting employee engagement through stay and exit interviews.
  • Research employment law HR best practices and organizational development trends to recommend improvements that enhance employee experience workplace culture and HR processes.
  • Partner with leaders Compliance and legal counsel as needed to resolve complex workplace concerns respond to unemployment claims and ensure fair consistent resolution of employee issues.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations by maintaining student placement programs assisting with special projects reporting policy administration employee records and serving as a collaborative member of the Human Resources team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who Were Looking For

Were seeking an experienced HR professional who is passionate about building positive workplace relationships coaching leaders and fostering an engaging employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of employee relations employment law and HR best practices along with exceptional communication problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Bachelors degree preferred with 5 years of Human Resources experience including experience supporting employee relations and leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines federal and state employment laws HRIS platforms Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust maintain confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Proven ability to analyze information prepare reports manage multiple priorities solve complex workplace issues and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to become proficient within six months in UKG HealthStream Leadership Versatility Index (LVI) Hireology Meditech and other required organizational software while maintaining a professional collaborative presence.
