Employee Relations Specialist

Are you passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and helping employees and leaders navigate complex people matters NEP is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor investigator and strategic partner in fostering a collaborative compliant and high-performing work environment.

• Lead and manage employee relations matters workplace investigations and conflict resolution efforts.

• Partner with managers supervisors HR Business Partners and legal counsel to address employee concerns and drive positive outcomes.

• Provide expert guidance on performance management corrective actions policy interpretation and workplace best practices.

• Implement human resources projects to further the Companys business goals in an efficient and expeditious manner.

• Develop and implement HR policies programs and initiatives that support business objectives.

• Deliver training on workplace conduct harassment prevention labor relations and compliance.

• Analyze workplace trends and recommend proactive engagement and risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and labor regulations.

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Labor Relations or related field.

• 7 years of progressive employee relations labor relations HR or employment law experience.

• Strong experience conducting complex workplace investigations and resolving sensitive employee issues.

• Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA ADA FLSA Title VII NLRA and related regulations.

• Experience supporting both union and non-union workforces.

• Excellent communication coaching mediation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to influence leaders manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
