Job Summary
One of our customers is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist. This opportunity will start out as a 3-5 month contract but does have potential to go long term or direct if the work load continues. This is a remote opportunity but may require you to visit facility occasionally.
Summary
The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting a positive and compliant workplace environment across the organization. The individual will manage the resolve complex employee relations cases conduct investigations and ensure alignment with the company policies. They will also address employee concerns support management and foster an inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
* Investigate workplace issues and concerns raised by employees including disputes allegations of discrimination harassment retaliation and other policies.
* Exercise judgement in recommending investigation outcomes ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
* Prepare track and maintain accurate documentation throughout the investigation process.
* Serve as an expert in crafting corrective actions PIPs and termination summaries
* Provide investigation reports and maintain documentation.
Education
* Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology or Business
* Masters degree preferred but not required
* SHRM certification a plus
Experience
* Prefer 5-7 years experience and 3-4 years with employee relations investigations and corrective action.
