Employee Benefits Account Executive

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join a team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with large group self-funded accounts ranging from 1000 to 5000 lives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consultant-style approach a deep understanding of self-funding and the ability to deliver exceptional client service. This position provides the chance to build and lead a team leveraging a robust suite of tools and resources to ensure success.

• Salary Range: $90000 - $110000 (commensurate with experience)

• Travel: Minimal travel required

• Manage and grow a portfolio of large group self-funded accounts (1000-5000 lives).
• Provide expert consultation to clients ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with financial managers marketing underwriters and other internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee the quoting and renewal process for new and existing business.
• Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline workflows.
• Build and lead a high-performing team fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice to clients.

• Licensure/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing large group self-funded accounts.
  • Proven track record of working with groups ranging from 1000 to 5000 lives.
  • Strong consultant-style approach with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software preferred.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field is preferred.
