Commercial Lines Producer

Seeking dynamic and driven individuals to join a team as Commercial Lines Producers. As a Commercial Lines Producer you will focus on prospecting new business building client relationships and driving sales in middle-market accounts (500 lives). This position is ideal for individuals with a go-getter mentality who are passionate about sales and eager to grow their careers in the insurance industry.

• Base Salary: $65000$75000 (Year 1; declines over 3 years to commission-only).
• Commission: 40% on new business 30% on renewals.
• Equity Opportunity: Begin earning equity once your book of business reaches $250000.

• Prospect and secure new business opportunities.
• Develop expertise in a chosen vertical (major) and secondary focus area (minor).
• Attend sales training in Tennessee to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Conduct client meetings and build strong lasting relationships.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve sales goals.

• Education: Bachelors degree preferred; Risk Management or Business/Sales majors are a plus.
• Experience:
  • 34 years of B2B sales experience (outside of insurance is acceptable).
  • OR 23 years of experience as a Producer Assistant or in an insurance-related role.
  • Recent graduates with Risk Management degrees will also be considered.
• Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong prospecting and client relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to hold effective client meetings.
  • Hunger for success and a results-driven mindset.
