A highly respected national law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Denver office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising businesses private equity sponsors and other sophisticated clients on executive compensation employee benefits and transaction-related compensation matters.

Ideal Background

5 years of employee benefits executive compensation ERISA or related experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

Experience reviewing and advising on employee benefit plans compensation arrangements and executive compensation programs in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions

Experience assisting clients with the design implementation and administration of employee benefit and executive compensation programs

Experience advising businesses regarding qualified and nonqualified retirement plans equity compensation plans deferred compensation arrangements and executive employment agreements

Experience counseling clients regarding ERISA Internal Revenue Code provisions and related regulatory compliance issues

Experience supporting mergers acquisitions and other strategic transactions involving employee benefits and executive compensation matters

Strong drafting analytical organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage sophisticated matters while working directly with clients and transaction teams

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Colorado bar admission required or ability to become admitted
