Compensation - $80K-$120K Bonus Benefits 401K

Summary:

Established Insurance agency seeking a detailed-oriented person who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of Employee Benefits/Group Health insurance coverages.

Job Description:

• Full knowledge of insurance products and usages
• Ability to advise and consult with clients
• Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
• Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Service and monitor account activity.
• Call existing insured to compliment or round out supplemental accounts.
• Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect clients business.
• Perform special projects as directed by the VP Employee Benefits.
• Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
• Process endorsements placement requests and invoicing.
• Complete and prepare certificates proposals policy summaries and reviews.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners carriers and vendors.
• Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience handling Employee Benefits Insurance Accounts
• Experience handling mid-large market accounts 50 group lives
• Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
• Experienced with Applied Epic or equivalent agency management system
• Must hold an active state P&C License.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
