Employee Benefits Account Executive

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive to join a team. This role is pivotal in managing and leading a portfolio of large-market accounts (1000 lives) with a focus on self-funded benefits solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of employee benefits self-funded plans and innovative solutions such as Rx captives clinical health management and point solutions.

• Base Salary: $140000 - $180000 annually
• Bonus & Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and incentives
• Benefits: Comprehensive health and welfare benefits tuition assistance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of large-market accounts (1000 lives).
• Lead and own the book of business ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and implement innovative self-funded benefits solutions including Rx captives clinical health management and point solutions.
• Manage renewals and provide strategic guidance to clients on their benefits programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and results.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in employee benefits with a strong focus on large group lives and self-funded plans.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a book of business as the primary account executive.
• Active Life & Health (L&H) license is required; additional designations such as CEBS GBA or RHU are a plus.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of self-funded benefits solutions and large-market strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with occasional travel as needed.
