The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program
TheER Immerse Programwill prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication professional skills and life/work integration.
The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.

Program Duration/Commitment
- 69-month training program ideallybeginning June 2026 but can accommodate your preferred date
- 12-month commitment as an ER clinician following training

- Home site: Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center- Kenosha- 1123 58th Ave Somers WI 53144
- Training site: Premier Veterinary Group Chicago: 3927 W Belmont Ave. Chicago IL 60618
Program Highlights
- 5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days 1 didactic day and 2 days off each week
- While training in Chicago you will rotate with other specialty services during the training program: Emergency Critical Care Surgery Internal Medicine Anesthesia Radiology and Neurology
- Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts
- Daily Rounds
- Mentorship is tailored to meet the individual needs of the mentee
- Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds
- Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors
- Work alongside talented Emergency Veterinarians
Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.
