Emergency Technician (Per Diem) HRA-795

Job Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or Physician. The ER Technician assists the work of the Registered Nurse M.D. and P.A. to meet the needs of patients in order to provide safe quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Runs specimens to the Laboratory
• Assists with transport to units/radiology
• Answers call lights
• Assists with lab draws (holding child or extremity)
• Assists patients in/out of vehicles
• Places patients on monitors
• Provide patient care within scope of position
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Emergency Department or EMT experience preferred
• Current BLS Certificate

Job Type: Per Diem Variable Shifts

Pay: $29-$40/hour
