We feature innovations in joint replacement robotic surgery pelvic health for women cancer care intensive care for newborns neurosurgery medical care for children and more.
- Contributes to a team-based approach to patient care ensuring efficient and effective patient flow through the Emergency Department.
Provides direct patient care to newborns children adults and geriatric patients under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrates effective and professional communication with patients visitors EMS personnel and hospital staff.
Maintains responsibility and accountability for the cleanliness maintenance and safety of unit equipment and supplies.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous patient care experience in an Emergency environment and/or with children strongly preferred
Skills:
- Basic medical terminology.
- Computer familiarity.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
Oregon:
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Provider certification required.
- CNA MA or EMT preferred.
Washington:
- Current American Heart Association approved CPR certification required.
- Registered or Certified Nursing Assistant (RNA/CNA) required for employees who perform this job in the state of Washington (including those who float into the role).
- Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist required for employees who perform phlebotomy in the State of Washington (including those who float into the role).
