Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center where teamwork critical thinking and high-acuity patient care come together to make a meaningful impact every day. How youll contribute
AnEmergency Service Technician (EST)who excels in this role:
- Works closely with all emergency services staff
- Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and visitors
- Responsible for the proper collection of most specimens used in laboratory analysis within the scope of their knowledge and experience (Phlebotomy POC testing)
- Performs point of care testing and follows appropriate quality control procedures
- Assists with the admission transfer and discharge of patients as appropriate including the transporting of patients throughout the facility

What were looking for
Applicants should have a possess a high school diploma and completion of an EMT/nurse aide/patient care technician training or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
CPR
Phlebotomy preferred
Emergency Care Experience preferred
