JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Texas Medical License
ABEM AOBEM or ABFM (ABFM requires 2 years ED experience at 10000 annual volume facility)
Active DEA
BLS Required; ATLS & ACLS required for non-boarded EM/FM physicians
EM or FM Residency Trained
Other Qualifications:
- Epic proficiency preferred
- Must be willing to work at both Marshall and Kilgore locations
- Completion of facility onboarding requirements and immunizations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently evaluate and treat emergency department patients
Perform emergency procedures and stabilization
Coordinate transfers and specialty consultations
Document patient encounters in Epic
Collaborate with APPs and consulting specialists
