- Board: BC or BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred); FM or IM accepted per facility requirements
- Licenses: Active unrestricted Florida Medical License; Active DEA with Florida address
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS PALS ATLS required (ATLS as applicable for trauma-designated sites)
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM accepted with appropriate experience
- Other Qualifications: Case logs from past two years CME documentation from past two years Stroke CME requirement (6 hours within 2 years or 9 hours within 3 years) Current Flu TB and COVID compliance
- Provide emergency medical care to patients across multiple AdventHealth emergency departments in a regional coverage model.
- Perform all department-required procedures including intubation central lines suturing and resuscitation.
- Supervise and collaborate with APP coverage to ensure efficient patient throughput.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the Epic EMR system.
- Communicate with specialists and coordinate care for complex cases requiring admission or transfer.
